Well, it took a while but we got there in the end! Thanks for visiting the website. I hope you’re all keeping well and keeping safe. Somedays’ the hours at home with our little boy are nothing short of magical. Other times I genuinely want to hide in a cupboard and eat all the oreos I’ve stolen from the same little boy. I guess that’s balance right? If I ever reflect back on my first blog post on the site it’ll remind me of such bizarre times so I’ll keep this short and end it with a little bit of poetry.

We must learn to ‘be.’

I know you need the ocean, but Mother Nature needs you more.
I know you need the forest; but your heart need not explore.
I know your mind is weary, just know you aren’t alone.
Please remember how many people call this earth their home.
I know you need the wildflowers, the way they need the rain.
I know how heavy your mind gets; from behind a window pane.
This is much bigger than us, than the pines, the flowers, the sea.
Together, for each other; we must learn to ‘be.’
She’ll be waiting with open arms, Mother Nature although she grieves.
She said in the mean time ‘look to the sky, for the stars - they’ll never leave.’ ✨
